Breakfast (Colazione)

Traditional Italian menus have five sections:
The First Course – Primo :
is pasta, soup, or risotto ”rice” lasagna “flat pasta shape” , polenta “ I cooked by simmering in a water-based liquid “
The Second or Main Course – Secondo :
is usually meat, poultry, or fish , including turkey ,sausage, pork ,steak, beef, salmon, lamb, chicken. It doesn’t usually include any potato or vegetable .
side dishes This could be a vegetable (verdura), potato, or insalata (salad).
The Dessert – Dolce:
like tiramisu “meaning (pike or left me up) “ penna cotta ( made by cream, sugar ,milk.)
gelato “ ice cream”
Drinks :
Coffee is often drunk at the end of a meal
Dinner (Cena) :
Dinner is usually a light meal in Italy like soup, salad, Cold meat,cheeses, vegetables an fruit.
